Trumpet coral not opening?

I went to my regional frag swap on Saturday and scored a sweet 8 head piece of neon green trumpet coral. But now its monday and it still looks like this:

No polyp extension at all. The ends are super neon green so i dont think its dead, its just not extending at all. My duncan is super happy as well as my frogspawn with tons of polyp extension. Does it take longer than usual for trumpet corals to acclimate? Thanks for your help fellow LPS'ers

It's definetly not dead. Give it time it will open up. Your levels are? Hope you have some phosphates and nitrates

Check them out at night to see if the tentacles are coming out. If they are then feed some coral food like coral fenzy or even mysis. They are not as happy as mine with the light on but they are not dead for sure. Also it is strange to me that the color of the body/trunk is kind of very white. Mine is darker.

Mine feed at night. You can kinda train them to open earlier each week or so.

Just do a water change, My trumpets get like that every time I need to do one. They are pretty funny because 1 hour after the water change they are happy again. Spoiled little brats that they are (always demanding water changes and such

)

That pic was actually the day after a water change. I do have 20 ppm nitrates and not sure on phosphates because i dont have a test for that. I know the nitrates should be 0 but i havnt gotten my skimmer yet. Its my next purchase. Trumpet still looks the same.
