ok so I bought a 6 head green trumpet coral today and I added it to the side of my tank close to the top. It’s right under my koralia pump not getting direct flow hit but getting gushes off of it I don’t want it to be in to much flow it’s tenticals are out atm and u can see them get a little gush ever little bit
How long will it take the trumpet to adjust to my tank and open up

If you just got them, I would place them mid tank instead of up high.

May take a few days to a week to acclimate if your water parameters are good.

This is a slightly older picture of my madness. Mine started out as two heads and in five years have grown into large colonies. Right conditions, they will grow like crazy.

They don’t need a ton of light and little flow, mine are are on the sand bed and grow rather quickly. I would drop them down some and keep them In light water flow.

I moved the trumpet close to the bottom had to made a bunch of corals around due to flow.
