Hey all, I got a trumpet about 3 weeks ago. I didn’t really light acclimate it, I place it in the center of the sandbed, and it got a decent amount of flow. At first it extended its feeders, but it doesn’t now. I moved it to a corner of sandbed where’s less light and less flow. I spot feed 2-3 week, tiny particles from rods food, and I also add phytoplankton every few days. Before and after picture below. I’ll be doing water change this weekend to see if it helps.

Really weird, all corals are doing so well. But trumpets and Favias don’t do so well for me. Other corals: frogspawn, 2 flowerpots, bounce, hammer, and I forgot name they look like palm trees

My trumpet looks pretty much the same? Isn't that just how they look?

Have you looked in the middle of the night? When I make a midnight potty run I always check my tank and usually it's like Friday night at the Golden Corral

Check in the middle of the night or early morning hours just before daybreak, I bet you'll see the feeders out!

I’ll check tonight and tomorrow again, but unfortunately I haven’t seen them out at 10:30pm (lights off at 9:30) or at 6:30am

Keep an eye on that puffer, he might have gotten a taste for LPS
+1 trumpets must be tasty because my pep shrimp chowed 2 chunks out of mine, they healed remarkably fast.

May have overlooked - what are your params and are you dosing anything?
