That kind of looks like them but not as many sections. Mine are star shaped.

Okay. I'm glad they aren't bad, just that they are spreading everywhere. Excuse to get some coral to slow them down.There are many varieties of them. They should have holes if they are indeed tunicates. Ahh, I'm too slow typing, lol.

Well I guess I'm specialI agree- Star ascidians, aka star tunicates. There are quite the variety of them, so I’d search some images to find one that looks like yours. To my knowledge, I’ve never heard of tunicates being bad![]()
