3 years ago I tried them without much luck. I was newish to the hobby still and my husbandry was lacking. Lots of issues with hair algae and didn’t know much about dosing or keeping my parameters in check. I was just getting by.

A couple months ago I tried again in my new tank (5 months old at the time) everything else was doing well enough so I gave it a shot. Then my anemone which I’ve had for two years decided to go for a walk into the power head. All my SPS bleached out but after doing water changes every day for a week and giving it two months time all have recovered except for the acro but even that is beginning to regain color. Weird thing is that the acro never stopped growing, just lost its color.

Now I’m trying again with a bright pink frag I got from my LFS. It’s small but cool looking. Pink with green accents. You can see it in the picture in the bottom right corner of the tank. Sorry for the poor quality pictures. Wish me luck!

You can see the second acro on the top center rock. He was purple with green accents. You can see the purple color is starting to come back
