Trying to add new MP40 QD to ESL

Wonder if anyone can help with this? I recently purchased a used MP40 quite drive manufactured Jan 2021. The unit powers on fine and the W is lit up. I have performed a full factory reset , I found 2 procedures and performed both. I have reeflink and use Ecosmart live to control 7 devices. When I try to add this device ESL does not see it. I've tried selecting add device wirelessly and add quitedrive vortechs with the same result, device is not found . Am I missing something here? It been a few years since I set this all up but I don't remember it being a problem adding devices. Since it a QD pump it has no usb port so that is not an option. I have also refreshed the reeflink and devices.

If it is Mobius ready it has a black Bluetooth RFcard in it. You would need the green Wi-Fi RD card for reeflink. Very confusing. I think on the Ecotech website they have info as to what serial numbers are what. Easiest way is to pull the knob off the front and take the 3 screws out of the back and look at the postage stamp size card. It’s very confusing! Good luck!

Thanks, I had to install mobius then downgrade from there. What a convoluted piece of crap (tried point of sale and forum software changed it to point of sale ) software mobius is. But it's done. I'm not looking forward to being forced to use mobius, hopefully it won't come to that any time soon.

No apex here. I don't really have a problem using ecosmartlive with the reeflink but mobius isn't my cup of tea. bluetooth only sucks as I'm more comfy on my PC than a small phone screen. Its probably an old guy thing.

Mobius is a point of sale. You would expect more from Ecotech charging 1.5x what everyone else does.
