I like the look of the Hammerhead of course. Both have similar prices. Flipper has some awesome reviews.

My tank is a 120g 12mm glass.

I have the Flipper Max and listed it as the one piece of reefing equipment I couldn't live without.
Hands down the best algae scraper/magnet I have ever used.

Not to hijack, but I was curious: What makes some of the high end scrapers better? I've got a magfloat xl with the scraper and I'm not sure what would improve on it other than scraping the tank automatically

Not sure! Going to be my first one. I like the look of the Algae Free brand ones because of the wood. But performance matters the most. So Flipper Max is prob the one for me. Ive read people like how low profile they are? So maybe it doesn't stick into the tank as far as a magfloat? No idea.

Dude don't buy flipper! I use for 2 month they grip a lot sand on pad. I hate it ever time clean the bottom always bring up the sand in pad. And makeing mark on my glass. Just pick up tunze long strong. That thin works 10X better than flipper. No more sand. In cleaner ! And easy clean. Trust me. Tunze long strong is the way to go don't waste that 50 bucks on flipper.
