Hi everyone! I am setting up a new tank in a couple weeks, and I am still trying to decide on what rock to use, but I think I have narrowed it down to either a man made rock or a mined rock of some kind. I do not want to use live rock, just to simply avoid hitchhikers. The two brands I have been looking into the most are Real Reef Rock, and CaribSea's Life Rock. Anyone here know which one is better overall, or if there are any serious downsides to using these? Any advise is helpful!

-Tank will be a 45 gallon cube, all-in-one with filtration in back.
-light livestock, fish, invert, etc. with as MUCH coral as I can fit.
-Filtration still deciding on, but will most definitely have a tunze skimmer, macro algae, maybe carbon and gfo, and some filter socks.

Also, I hope this is the right category this falls under, if not let me know and I will move it to the right one!

I am considering the rocks you mentioned as well for my new setup, currently leaning toward the carib sea life rock. I am not aware of any downsides, but curious to see if someone more informed will chime in.

I just ordered 20lbsof caribsea life rock and 40lbs of dry pukani to get started.
