Trying to raise Dendronephthya and Scleronephthya part1

Trying to raise Dendronephthya is not as easy as I thought. By now I thought, with all the info we have now, there would be thriving colonies in aquariums. Not the case. Well, Edison made thousands of experiments till successful in certain inventions. I guess we'll keep trying. I'm just getting started. Just gotta keep thinking outside the box

Came in today. Will need to crush for smaller micron size

Yep. The carousel is a good step in the right direction.

Tomorrow going seafood shopping, wild caught shrimp, maybe lobster. Makes sense, scavenger lots of bacteria and what. Now need to figure direct injection to carousel.

Test it on chili coral

What if in the center of your carousel you had a tube with multiple holes and could inject the food in there and have it spread out?

Now need to ramp up my refugium. More feeding . Where can I find a 10000L refugium? Hummm.... Maybe Europe.

Sallstrom are you listening.
You could build one. You can make it out of acrylic or concrete. If you go the concrete.

Now I'm back! Yes, I recommend a 10m3 reef tank as a refugium ;)

Are you sure you need more food? If the Chili corals looking good maybe you shouldn't increase the feeding yet? Just a thought :)

Our Dendronephtya and Scleronephtya are coming tomorrow!
