Have to ask I am trying to leave Japan for vacation should I get a reef keeper to turn on and off the lights and a auto feeder Or should I do something else any suggestions I heard apex has a good setup u can monitor from anywhere via phone

You could also go with reg timers that turn your lights off and on every day plus a auto feeder an a auto top off.

Be sure you've got someone in the know to act as your hands. Otherwise you'll helplessly watch your system crash from Japan. I'm sure you know this already.

vacation or not, i would certainly think one of the best investments you can make is either a reefkeeper or apex controller. you will not regret it.

I'd go with a Reef Keeper Lite (It is much simpler to program). You should also have someone checking on the tank regularly. You could also set up a webcam to keep an eye on the tank. How to use an old cell phone as a webcam
