Trying to understand light needs...

Ok im just trying to understand what the light needs are for Bubble tip Nems are. If i have a 15 gall tank with Highish rock work and one or 2 Small koralia PH then would a 2 bulb corralife T5HO with SLR on it be enuf to keep it happy ?


Im trying to start a small tank to house a couple of my Leathers from the main tank. And thought a Nem would be Nice to have with them Plus we have a ***** of a clown in the sump that would like it.

I would say your fine with the T-5s on there, being as that tank isn't very deep. Not really big enough for a Nem or Leathers, but the light will work.

Lol Id understand about the Nem Being or getting to large. But leathers............? Ive had them in a 5 gall.

I wouldn't mind if it covered the whole tank. I don't plan on buying anymore leathers or softy's.

And in such a small tank the fish don't have much room to swim around the Nem.

Just one clown. I was tossing the idea around about some other small fish but might go with some minis instead. I can sell the splits.
