Hi all and thanks for taking time to read
I’m currently 30 hours in on TTM with 2 camel cow fish 2 clowns and a lawnmower blenny with ick in a 20 gal long
Tank has HOB filter and an air stone ,I’ve been trying not to feed them to much and sucking food/poop out ,but the water is getting cloudy not sure if it’s from selcon in the food or a bacteria bloom I’ve dosed 2ml of prime once before introducing them to the tank and once this afternoon ,also have ammonia reducing filter pad in HOB ,ammonia reads zero on test strips ,if it is a bacteria bloom is this cause for concern?
Does anyone know if these test strips work with prime in water?
Thanks again

should only be cloudy for a short period of time. White cloudiness could just be a bacterial bloom as long as your water parameters are okay there is nothing to worry about

@Jwill I recommend getting a Seachem Ammonia Alert badge instead of using strips. That way it changes colors for you.

Also, it takes about 2-3 days before it’s working. That’s the easiest way to manage a QT tank.
