TTM in a bucket?

im going to be adding small fish to my tank soon. Can I TTM small fish like a yellow coris wrasse or a single cardinal in a 5 gallon bucket?

As long as its a food safe bucket, and you use an airstone or powerhead and a heater should be ok

The wrasse prefers to sleep in the sand. If you can, might want to provide a fresh sand bed in a small glass bowl each transfer. Perhaps a wrasse expert can weigh in regarding doing TTM without sand. Not sure how well it would do without a place to sleep. Probably pretty stressful.

Should be fine as others have said, but people I know who utilize TTM prefer being able to visualize the fish better (to assess for ailments that would necessitate alternate treatment) in a small glass tank rather than a bucket.
