so . I was just about too leave for work this morning , the lights on my tank come on just before I leave so I can have a quick check, when I noticed something like a slug or something stuck too the side of my tunze powerhead....
after closer inspection of my tank I realized that it was the remains of my tube anamone, which I've only had for two weeks ..I'm gutted ... it was beautiful... I can't understand how it got there .. he seemed very happy where he was .. always open , always feeding well .. I had read that they weren't like normal anamones and prone too moving when unhappy ... I have nothing in my tank that would attack or nip at it .....

I feel the same about my hammer coral. For at least a week he was happy, next day closed, and next he was totally gone. :/ sorry for the loss.

Well hes back in the tank , so now I just need too wait and see , girlfriend has said she doesn't think it's dead , so there's still hope :)

Jason cover it gently with sand of your tank
In nature they live under the sand and only the tentacles are out
When they catch food
Also under the sand they find food and restore
If it is not too much demaged you will see tentacles come out from the sand in few days

I'm not sure it's got any left .. after the powerhead ..it's back in the sand bed now and I'm keeping my fingers crossed !!!

Update !!
Well my tube anamone is still alive and slowly growing tentacles back .!!!! Only !!!!! This time instead of them being yellow they appear to have an orange reddish hew too them .. !! Is this possible .. that it can morph its color!!! It's gonna be gorgeous I think !!
