Tube Anemone Hitchhiker Identification

So I purchased the following (huge — 12") tube anemone at my LFS and when I was floating it for temp acclimation in my QT, I noticed at least a dozen small "anemones" coming from the trunk that I didn't see at the store. They're different colors and weird IMO, since this part of the trunk should be under the sand.

Are these indeed additional tube anemones and if so, should I remove and place them in the sand as well? The LFS had it exposed in a piece of rock and being blasted by a powerhead, which is why I ended up purchasing it (I felt sorry for it).

All the things I see in the pics are fan worms. I would leave them alone.

Looks like feather worms. Signs of a healthy tank.

Are they okay to bury in the sand with the tube anemone?

I have ones in my tank growing out of the sand, and I never put them there. Maybe dont bury them too deep, just to be safe.

The tube anemone will bury itself as well. They can even leave their tube and craw along the sanded to find a more suitable location.
