Hi all,
So, my tube anemone, Pinky the Hutt, looks like it is splitting. This is a thing for this species?
The picture isn't great, but pretty sure there are 2 mouths' now.
Cheers,
Kim

Unlike the true anemones, they do not reproduce through asexual means such as fission, where the anemone is divided or split into parts to create a new anemone. Tube Anemones are hermaphrodites, meaning they are both male and female.

Thanks. After an hour it looks like Pinky was just trying to make an escape through the rock work that didn't quite work out for them.
