Finally got one after years of not doing so in fear of it eating a fish. Read opposing views on the subject and decided to take a chance. Good news, multiple fish, multiple times ran into it with no ill effects. But I have a question about how deep it should be. Almost impossible to bury as it is a soft gooey mess of an animal and digging in sand is not an easy task. I was told it will bury itself if not happy. It seems to like to be about an inch out of the sand; more so at night than during the day. Is that normal? Most pictures I see of them, just the head is out. Here it is...
