Yeah, so... I was really hoping for something special with this guy. He is a tube coral. I don’t know the “real name”. When I put him in my tank, I seated him in the sand, in the front of my tank. It was actually a double tube. Yeah, they both hid!

how do o get this guy out from under there? Or should I wait and hope he grows back into “sight”?

If you were set on moving it , you’ll have to act quick and carefully since they dig their foot in the sand pretty deep.

If you had a good sized shovel type tool to scoop it out it would probably be ideal for replacement.

I had not even considered that! Dude, thank you. I was actually considering using a long pair of tweezers. (trust me, I knew that was a bad idea)

I don’t mind leaving there... he “should grow up past som of the rock... eventually?

Do you think he will grow up and thru everything eventually? Or is he just my little secret now?

They tend to grow but I don’t know how much taller we are talking to meet your needs lol.
As mentioned, when they find a spot they like they usually settle in. And they prefer a good deep sand bed so if the spot you want it in isn’t a high spot , then it probably won’t stay there.

It is as deep where he as anywhere else : ) he’d have to grow... lol... a lot to be back on display : ( 6 more inches in tube length alone.
