Exactly what the title says... what is it? I thought it was a feather duster but I am a beginner and I don't really know. This pic is with no lights

looks like a feather duster to me i have a few of them in my tank
does it have anything on the end of it ?

Feather dusters will retreat into their tubes. Not a problem.

I think it's a vermetid snail.... how do I get rid of it? Or will it die off because I set up the tank yesterday?
Some reefers superglue the tube shut; I just crush them with my fingers.

I just break them off with my fingers too. Some people don't mind them some hate them... I'm kind of in between on my feelings. They tend to reproduce fairly quickly and irritate some corals, but not others.

Woah I just counted like 10 tubes! I honesty think they will die off because there is too much ammonia in the water

While there's not that many, find tweezers and crush them at the base. Once they take a foothold, they spread like wildfire and are very annoying. Their silk feeding strands are a nuisance to coral.
