Tube worm pests?

i have these tube worm looking things popping up in several places. Are they bad and if they are should I take them out.
When I do a water change they really produce a lot of slime.

Vermetid snail/worm, as KJ said. Is it growing ON the coral? If so snap it off at the base and it should die. They aren't that bad in your tank, I prefer to not have them but once they get in you will never eradicate them. Don't stress over it, I wasted too much time trying to rid my tank of them.

Thanks, out of the ones I found those two are the biggest and there are a few much smaller ones scattered around. I'll pick them off later.
