Hello! It's me again, sorry for my many posts..

I got a tube worm 2 days ago,and it has 2 ends, once that is rigid and the other part covered with sand, that is less rigid(jelly if you want)

I placed it in my sand, but I don't know from which end the worm will come out from.. I placed the jelly part under the sand and the solid part directed out of the sand,2 days now and nothing out of the tube..
Could it be that the fan should come out from the other end ? :squigglemouth:

Thank you so much!

Sounds like you have it right. Sometimes they lose their crowns and have to regrow them. Sometimes the flow is too strong or a shrimp or fish is picking at them and they will not open.

mmm.. Maybe the peppermint shrimp?I don't trust this shrimp anymore! I saw it many times sitting on my plate coral.. Impossible to catch it and take it out!!

Normally the bigger opening is up. However, your worm might have gone out of the tube due to stress or something else bothering it.
