Hello reefers.

How do you guy get rid of the tube worm that shoot out spider web ?

It is very irritating everytime when i feed the fishes. and they are everywhere in the tank, on sps as well. err...

really appreciated.

how often & how much are you feeding (and what fish do you have in what size tank)?? Usually they're proportional to the nutrient rich-ness (or lack, thereof) of the environment). That said, tube worms are generally viewed as a good addition to the tank, being filter feeders.

If you want it gone you can super glue the end shut and it will die.

Those are not worms but acutally vermetid snails that live inside the tubes. They use the webs to catch food in the water column. Like TooTime said, the best way is to break off the tube and seal it shut with super glue or any epoxy used for fragging.

Thank you guy just took out a few acro frags that are not glued to the rock yet and did some manually remove the snail but there are more in the tank lol
