Tube worm?

Sorry for bad pictures, I believe this is a tube worm but can you guys let me know.

Haha, I missed it the first time and only found it because the worm’s out in one pic (pic 1) but not in the other (pic 2) - down to the left of the clownfish, just to the right of the crevasse between the rocks, it’s the little dark patch.

A pic under white light ing will help confirm as while it appears to be, tubes emit fans (they are Not feather dusters) to capture food. Also has appearance of a hydroid but the type of tube suggests tube worm

Yeah sorry for bad picture, was just giving the tank a once over before the weekend and saw that in the back.

It looked like it has a hard tube and with a feather duster looking worm that was out and then it shot inside the tube when the clown fish swam by it.

Sounds right. I dont favor them in my systems as when you have one, there soon will be more. For one, simply apply a dab of gel superglue over its head and it will starve.
