So a couple of months ago I was given about 100lbs of live rock from a friend that was getting out of the hobby. The rock was covered in algae after I solved that situation I had nice coralline growth on all the rocks. Recently I discovered tubes growing on the rocks about 1/2" long by 1/16" to 1/8" wide. But at night they sometimes send out sweepers that are 3 to 4 inches long. Not every night but most. Not always that long.
Is this harmless filter feeder or something else. I was going to add the live rock in my main system but don't want to chance it without getting some input first.
