Looking for options to use as tubing for various pumps and projects.

Example... Purchasing a MaxiJet 1200 to help pump water from Brute can to DT.

The vinyl tubing at Lowes is too stiff to easily work with, especially with smaller lengths! Looking for similar flexibility of the tubing that comes with a python water changer!

What are you all using?

How much water are you talking about moving and how far? I have found some great prices on silicone tubing on Amazon. I use 3/4" vinyl tubing with a cheap pond pump I bought off of Ebay. On the fill end I built a "hook" out of 3/4" pvc that hooks onto the tank so I can tend to the pump while I am filling.

Just looking to move around 20g max at a time for a water change as well as usr the MJ1200 to clean sump, etc... The vinyl tubing is too stiff.... silicone tubing would be more flexible. I think the MJ1200 had a 3/4" and 1/2" input/output.

I went with something like this for my pump (the 1600gph), https://www.ebay.com/itm/160-4200-G...hash=item43e8d7c881:m:m5mJ6TmLI9AbeJGrwyDq04w
I pump mine up about 7' and over about 15'. Depending on your setup I would recommend a larger pump than a MJ1200.

Also this is the tubing I was talking about

Thanks! I think i will look at trying a pump like that. The MJ1200 might struggle with the 5 foot head height to the top of my tank. That silicone tubing looks perfect and very flexible!
