Hi-
I recently transferred my old reef to a new DIY 200g build. This is my first time using a sump and overflow with a return pump. I havent really been able to dial in the return pump to the overflow. Eventually either the water level in the sump gets lower or higher. Does anyone have any tips?

Thanks,
Nate

I have the various 8, set to the 4th setting, and a gate valve. I just haven't really been able to dial it in. Wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if everyone has the problem every once and awhile

As you pump water up from your sump to the DT, you may have to add water to the sump. It can take a few gallons to raise the level in the DT to the point where the flow through the weir matches the return pump. Try dialing back the pump to its lowest setting to see if it will stabilize.

And open your gate valve all the way for now. Are using Bean Animal?

Yep! I think I might have gotten it dialed in. The bean animal is what I'm running yep!

The gate I maybe have halfway closed or so
