Hey all! I wanted to take this moment to introduce myself. I am Zach, I have been a part of the reefing hobby for 6 months now. I really take a passion for what I am doing and am totally in the hobby to enjoy (not to make money off).
I currently have two tanks up and running.
First is a 60 Cube that is a mixed reef. I run LEDs over it, it has a skimmer, fuge, and wet dry filter. Since starting I have had countless amounts of barriers get in my way. Consisting of sundial snails, zoa eating nudibranchs, ich, and monti eating nudibranchs. I learned my lesson and now dip/quarantine all my corals and fish.
My second tank, is new since yesterday! I purchased a 85 gallon 4 ft tank off a local reefer as he was moving out of state and was getting out of the hobby. It is a full set up fish corals and all. It's also a mixed reef, which runs metal halide and T5 lighting and has a sump. This was my first tank move and took me about 8 hours with a extra set of hands for moving the tank and buckets. So far everything has survived!
I can't wait to dig on through the forums to see what others have to offer in terms of knowledge. I still have a lot to learn about the hobby, hopefully all the members can help me out when the time comes around!
