Tunze 3153 confused about location...

Recent bought the Tunze 3152 but I think it's set up in the wrong place...

Should the float switch be in the chamber where the return pump is? I have the Nuvo 40G AIO.

And then the water feeding hose should I place it in the same chamber where the float switch is or place it in the tank where it put water in the tank itself instead of the return pump?

I think my water level has actually gone up quite a bit leaving it is where it is now

You definitly put the sensor in the return chamber. The fill hose can go anywhere above the water line

As long as its only a little above the float its operating as normal

Hmm feels alittle odd to me. Coulda swore my water line has catully gone up alit these passed couple days.1
