Tunze 5017 stopped working?

My ATO has started going nuts, had to unplug it. I tested the pump with a 9 volt battery. It is working. The float switch is triggering something in the box. When I plug in the power it lights up the green level light for about 6 seconds, then goes dark for 10 seconds. After that it starts to flash red lights too high and too low as well as the green level light. Anyone seen this before?

I believe simultaneous flashing high and low LEDs might be the water damage indicator.

Could the control box have got wet?

No, but the power supply was unplugged while I was doing water change. The end could have gotten wet. What do you do for this? Is it garbage or can something be done to fix it?
