Hey everyone...

I'm thinking about giving two tunze a try in my 20 long. I have two hydor 550's now, but feel the tunze would give a better overall performance.

I have little interest in buying an mp10 used or new anymore. Overpriced either way in my personal opinion.

If anyone has two of these send me a pm. Maybe I can buy them.

Thanks!

I have one but I just bought it. If you want a new one I know where you can get 10% off. You're only going to need one in a 20L.

Their only rated the push 495 gph while the hydor 550s are rated for 550gph. I'm guessing that's a difference in design that they are powerful?

And I'd prefer to have two just in case. The two 550s in the tank work just fine right now without blowing anything too much.

Lol its cool. By glance it looks really close.

I'm really thinking about these simply because of their price. It would seem their design allows for more gentle flow.

Is that right?

Any Dc power head will give you a lot of control.. It ramps up and down smoothly.. Usually the lowest settings are about 30%. Tunze may even offer a "wide" output for these models, you'll have to ask Roger.. Koralia also has a Dc power head line that I've heard good things about.
