Tunze 9001 (2020) Silencer

I have a Tunze 9001 skimmer from 2020 purchased second hand and the silencer is missing. I want to buy a replacement silencer but the only type I seem to be available is the newer style circular unit, will this be suitable for the older 9001?

You can get both, but the newer one is quieter and easier to adjust and a neater install provided the outside magnet will be outside the tank and not on an inner partition-
