Why did you decide to go skimmerless. I'm thinking of getting one but hear both ends, tank to small to make difference and people that have good luck like our own @Helen.

Hope I'm not out of line asking on your sell thread. That's a great deal and sounds like it should already be "seasoned" to eliminate that buggy break in period.

Main reasons for me were that I was/am doing about a 20% water change weekly/biweekly and find that keeps things in line just fine. Second reason was that this tank sits about a foot from my couch and I wanted as much silence as possible. This skimmer isn't loud by any means, but why run it needlessly per reason one and add any noise at all?
