Tunze 9002 won't fit in bio29

I'm having trouble trying to get my tunze skimmer in chamber 2 with my intank media basket, aren't they suppose to fit in the coralife biocube 29

yes they do 9001 the 9002 is an older model go to IN TANK and watch the videos

@Darryl would you mind showing me the back of your tank if you can, i got them both in the 2 second chamber and whenever i try to stick the intank cup on it it wont align properly, am i suppose to push it all the way down til it sit on the bottom?

the skimmer has a water line on the side front ,basically the skimmer should sit just spilling over into the chamber without cup then place cup on top an ATO is a good idea with evaporation keeping the level at that mark.

i bought a 9001, waiting for that to come in, this used tunze 9002 is getting on my nerves, the bottom plate keeps falling out its really bugging me @Darryl

Sorry to jump in on your thread, but I have the same equipment as Darryl and have been trying to figure out how to make it all fit. How does the IM reactor fit in chamber 3 with the return pump? What do you have in chamber 1? How high is your water level in chambers 2 and 3?

Does the back lid close with the reactor in the 3rd chamber?

I have a maxi jet 1200 for return pump more power and smaller the reactor fits right down there along 3rd wall and yes will close
2nd chamber has InBasket media holder with blue back floss top purigen 2nd shelf and chemipure blue in third shelf hanging

Thanks, I have the same set up minus the reactor and upgraded pump. I was thinking about adding a reactor but didn't know if one would fit in the 3rd chamber.

@Darryl hey i just got my tunze 9001 in the mail its been running for about 2 days now, and the skimmer bubbles are coming all the way to the top, and i do have the water and the water line, and i also have the airline all the way open, i read somewhere that i should do that to break it in

Turn the air down So the bubbles are at bottom of the cup
It will change a few times till break in
I had one that I had the air almost off now it's wide open
