Tunze 9004 dc & jbj 66 aio

Hello I just got the Tunze 9004 dc for my jbj 65 aio tank….if I put it in my Second chamber it’s really close to the glass where the skimmer Surface skims at…would that affect skimmer?…I can put it in my middle chamber the return chamber and there’s a lot more room there but the water Level might change due to Evaporation untell aio kicks in..what do I guys think?
