Tunze 9012 DOC comline or just 9012

Looking at the Tunze 9012 Skimmer wondering is the extra money worth the controllability? Or should I just buy the skimmer itself and save some cash for other aquarium needs?

I on't think so but it just adds another level of adjustability. For some the less points of adjustability, the better. It can end up as just more points of frustration.
