Tunze 9410 dry skimming

Hi.
my nutrient export is working too well as l have zero phosphates, even though lm feeding well with a high bio-load. It’s been suggested to dry skim rather than wet, and mine is very wet. However, l can’t seem to find anything relevant in either the manual or online as to how to go about it on a Tunze 9410.
I have always had the DC pump set to its lowest point. Any advice?

You can control the air intake valve on the pump or lift the skimmer so the foam is at the bottom of the skimmer cup.

Thanks. I’ve always had the pump on its lowest setting, I’ll try changing the water level.
