Tunze 9410 skimmer assembly question ??

Ok I won the Tunze skimmer giveaway recently ! So I'm about to install this cool skinner but not sure which way to attach the Hydrofoamer . I guess that's what they are call it .
So does the cylinder mount high near the cup or down by the pump? Does it even matter ?
As You can see I installed up high near the cup.

Yes, that is the air intake silencer so it needs to be out of the water.

Thank You, I couldn't find s pic of this skimmer fully assembled.
I did see a couple of youtube vids where it was placed down by the pump. Sl thise gys were wring .
You like your tunze skimmer? I'm installing this on a 75 with 80 maybe 90 gls total .

I have used Tunze skimmers for 35 years very well made and supported equipment will be something that just works with out any issues. Just take it a part and clean it regularly and they just keep working.

Excellent ! I won this from the R2R raffle ! Around Halloween, I installed a real nice Triton sump & needed a good skimmer . Man that worked out very well for me !
Anyway it's getting installed today !

OK well I installed the skimmer & it's bubbling away ! Water depth in the skimmer is spot on as advertised. One thing is the cup is too small for my likes . I'm also not used to smaller skimmer.They say it's plenty big. We shall see !

how has the tunze 9410 been working out? I am building 200 gal and chose this skimmer and fear it maybe too small... but I needed a skimmer with a narrow footprint due to my narrow sump (only 12 inches wide)

Hello , So far working great ! So I emptied the 1st cup then it went nuts & filled/overflows in one day. I turned the air down a bit & working fine ,producing nice "dark" skimmate.
