Anyone suggest some kind of locking connector for the water feed tube that goes into the pump for the Tunze ato?

when I fill the ato reservoir the tube comes out of the pump, sometimes I think it’s in tightly only to later find out it wasn’t and the ato failed to top up the tank. The tube for the connector seems slightly too big for the connector they have provided, the force needed to get the tube in has caused me to crack the connector, I’m had to glue it together again.

You might consider looking for a line that would fit around the output, and then use a zip tie to help seal it. That’s what I would try if it was cracked but you also run the risk of it not having enough pressure to push it through the larger tube if it has to travel upwards much.

I’m sorry to hear about your troubles with the pump, I’ve had several of them but never that exact issue.

Best of luck!

In the BRS cycling video today Ryan was using a 3/8" to 1/4" push connector on the pump output, then using 1/4" ro tubing.

yeah it happened when I was first setting it up, good idea but it’s setup on a nano, the bigger tube would have to be a good few mm larger to go over the connector instead of in it, that would maybe increase the volume dispensed with a bigger tube, I wouldn’t want that as I’m on the limit now,

Wow exactly the thing! Thanks

I needed a longer line than is supplied with the tunze. After researching for a while(old posts back on reefcentral), I found the push fit connector.

And I use RO/DI line for just about everything. From ATO line to AWC line, to dosing lines. The stuffs just cheap, and can be bought at my local hardware store.
