Tunze ATO pump not working

I Tunze ATO pump has stopped pumping. I turned it on and it tries to run but no water is being pumped into my tank. I have been running kalk, and keep the pump in a glass container to keep the precipitation out of the pump. Hard to find info from the Tunze website for troubleshooting. The pump is 2 years old. Do I just need to buy a new pump?

Time for a new pump. Kalk kills these pretty quick. You were lucky to get two years. You can run any pump you like if you get the tunze adaptor kit.

edit. When I was running kalk in my ato with the tunze I kept a spare pump on hand. Last time I got one it was twenty bucks. I was replacing them between twelve and eighteen months.

You should have gotten the new DC pump. WELL worth the extra cost.
