Tunze ATO pump thump noise.

I've had this on my tank since 3-29-22. I always keep the ATO tank full and never let the pump run dry. I noticed this morning when the pump shut off (seems to run a lot, on and off all day) that it appears as though it wants to turn on but just makes a thump sound. I've disconnected the entire assembly, cleaned it, put everything back, plugged it in, it ran for a bit, stopped, the once again makes this thump sound. Thoughts?

If it’s still under warranty I’d take it back . If not make the decision to replace it as it doesn’t seem like it’s a obstruction issue that’s causing it to fail . And my thoughts is with it stopping it’s of no use but could you imagine if it turns on and doesn’t stop !!! Depending on how big your tank and reservoir it could be a disaster!!! If it were me I wouldn’t use it .

Mine do this from time to time if it has been running for too long.
I have to unplug and replug them in to reset them.
I have them on 2 of my tanks. I am seriously considering replacing them before I plan on thinking about any type of vacation.

I did this, the tank is full, so when I unplugged it for a minute or so and plugged it back in it was fine.

Can you explain a little bit more? I'm totally new to a salt set up. Thanks.
