I just set up my ATO yesterday, and the water level dropped a centimeter or so (but on a 5g tank)
It hasn't done anything. Nothing at all. There are no signs it is even active. When you set it up are you supposed to "activate it"? Is the problem in those clips you connect to the pump?? Or does the pump only activate when it goes down completely? The water level goes up until 3/4 of the float switch's height. Should I bring the water level down?? I have no idea what to do, so I need any advice you all have :)

Did you wire the pump correctly?
What is going on with the controller is it flashing, beeping? What is lit up. You say stopped but I suspect it's not been setup properly. The tunze ato is very sensitive. I can't put my hand in my tank without the water level alarm for too high going off.

which Tunze ATO do you have ?
im assuming the nano,
in a 5 gallon tank the switch has to sit up higher on the rim or the top off level will think its still full.
the 2 power chords plug into the 2 clips squesse them open push chord inside and close repeat for other .
to test if it is working hold the switch/magnet and remove back magnet and lift up the pump will activate when the float switch settles toward the bottom

It is a nano
So where should the "regular" water level be at?
Also I heard no alarms at all :I

That is the wiring part. Doing that incorrectly would change soemthing?

Because that was the problem :I
No, the water level was just too high
And I'm pretty sure I was, too

there is no alarm on the nano
