Water splashed onto my control box, prompting alarm (good) but the darn thing won’t reset (bad). It’s happened to me once before and it did reset itself. Is there a trick/workaround? Any success opening it up and trying to reset it or dry it out? Loved the system, but would hate to drop another $200 on it - might push me to buy that Apex I’ve been eyeing.

With most electrical systems you can save them if you can de-energize them, rinse them well in RODI, and then dry them very well prior to energizing. You have a good chance at getting this to work as long as something hasn't shorted from overcurrent and you do it before things get corroded.

Is “de-energize” the same as “unplug”? Sorry if that’s a dumb question. If so I’ll give it a try tonight.

Yes just make sure you unplug it before rinsing :) after you have manually removed as much water as possible air dry with fan for a few hours then drop in a bag of rice for a couple days

Unplug, and if it has a battery, remove the battery.

You can also rinse it with isopropyl alcohol to help dry it.

This worked. Took off cover, swished it in rodi, left it overnight with a fan blowing on it, works now. Thanks!
