So I got alittle confused with the magnets and switches. I really like the all in one magnet where both switches are on one magnet but in the instructions it read like in a cabinet where my sump is it was recommended to use the switches on each seperate magnet. So I did that. But did I read that correct is that how most of you all are running your alls with a sump? I personally didn't really see what the difference would be. But I'm new to all this anyway so what do I know lol.

I keep them separate for convenience but feel it is more a personal preference than anything else. Recommend that you get an extra pump so if and when one burns out you have a ready replacement.

I use both because I didn't want the overflow alarm float going off every time I turned off the return pump. You have more control I think using both magnets

That's a good idea thank you for that

Oh I didn't think about that I would've figured that out this evening when I shut everything off for my water change lol. Thank you for your input.

I kind of think my pump is loud. I can hear it kick on distinct buzz. Maybe I need to place it on a Matt of some kind
