This one [6095] a wider flow, too much flow?
It's controllable and can also be run at a variety of different voltage levels, so it can be run on a very small tank, if needed.
I'm not a "wider is better" acolyte though.....that was a
bad 90's TV advertising meme, not a flow strategy for 2016.
The 6095's are sweet for a wide-flow pump since they're infinitely flexible in placement and directionality.
However, I think you'll end up liking something more directional – at least as a supplement.
I really think four 6045's on a tide simulation would be a superior solution. More flow-outlets counts for a lot.
At least, I'd plan on having one or two 6045's for supplementary effect.
Worries over concentrated streams of water are really misplaced – we're not talking about using a Mag pump for flow, we're talking propellor pumps.
