I just recently bought the Tunze ATO from BRS and after all the good reviews, I was excited to try it. Installed easily, and had the typical issue with the "eye" needing to be cleaned before proper operation. The unit worked the first day just fine. Woke up this morning to the "too low" light LED lit on the controller. I checked the storage container and it was full. Unplugged the unit and plugged it back in and the pump turned on filling past the "normal" level until the emergency float was triggered. Any suggestions or is the system just acclimation itself. It's been in for 48 hours or so. Thanks in advance for your responses.

It may be draining back to the ato reservoir, which causes air bubbles to be trapped in the pump and then it can't push water. Try laying the pump on its side, which allows the bubbles to clear.
I put a check valve at the end of the tubing, which stops the back siphoning.
Not sure if this helps you or not?
