Tunze long suprise

Hi,
Another new sailor Tunze question.
My new care magnet long jerks quite a bit when cleaning the glass. I'm sure it's normal, but quite a surprise. Is this how it is. Makes cleaning in tight spaces a bit challenging.

I think it goes away after a while. I do remember mine doing that when I first got it.
