Tunze NANO ATO Issues

So I've been running the Tunze Nano ATO on my IM NUVO 10 since February. Haven't had any issues with the unit until recently. As of the past few days I have to unplug the unit and plug it back in to get it to pump water into the tank. Last night when I arrived home from work, the tank was full of micro bubbles, and upon further investigation the third chamber was nearly empty. I pulled the float, checked that there was nothing keeping it from moving up and down, did a quick rinse on it and placed it back into the chamber. This morning I checked it again before heading to work by moving the magnet/float up to trigger the pump and got nothing.

So my question is to those that have this ATO, have you run into the same issues? If so how did you alleviate this problem?
 
I have had the same issues off and on for quite awhile with mine. I haven't found any solution or reason for it other than it seems to eventually sort itself out. My most recent issue which I also have off and on, is it overfilling beyond the float switch. It seems to have a mind of it's own sometimes. I think I recall reading somewhere once that if it's on relatively thin glass it can have some issues with the mounting magnet interfering, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I am no help other than to tell you you are not alone. :) Every time it acts up I contemplate getting something new/different but have yet to do it.
 
Thats what I figured. I will keep messing with it and hopefully it sorts itself out. If not I may go a different route with an optical sensor.
 
+1 on the "it eventually figures itself out" statement. Mine did the same thing for around 3 months, now it works fine. I'm not sure if it was anything I did or something else. I would just check on it daily until its more consistent though.
 
Wrote to the guys at tunze yesterday and said it's possibly a bad controller. They are going to send a new one to me next week.

That's good! They have pretty good customer service.
