I recently came into a tunze nano ATO. It says that it’s rated for tanks up to 50 gallons. Has anyone had any experience trying to use on a larger tank? I would be placing it on the return chamber of a 30 gallon trigger sump that serves a 90g fish only tank.

I know it probably boils down to what your daily evaporation is, right?

Yep. I have the full sized version on my 90. You can adjust the amount/duration of flow on my Tunze. Maybe you can adjust the nano enough too.

Yeah,
But, the Nano ATO might have a shorter lifespan, trying to keep up with your evaporation rate for the size of your entire setup.

If @Big G is talking about the Tunze 3155, you can dial that ATO in, just like he says.
