I have purchased one and turned it on tonight. Outside the water it spins perfectly. When I put it down in the water it’s like it hits the sides of the unit and makes a weird noise.

Is this normal for break in?? Not sure what to do. I have taken it apart several time and attempted to make sure no obstructions.

Wrong propeller installed at factory. Sending the appropriate one!

Tell them to give you the matching 6040 pump so it matches your impeller. LOL

Yeah they are great pumps. I have a 6040 in my IM Lagoon 25.
