Tunze Osmolator 3155.000 not working suddenly

Hello,

My ATO is about a year old and it has suddenly stopped maintaining the water level. If I turn it off and back on it will run for 20 secs or so then stop. I have tried cleaning the sensor but no luck. Any help?

Mine stopped working and had the same issue as well so I bought the pump off amazon for 30$. Fixed the problem right away.

If you get a perpetual green level light, the issue is with the optic sensor, pump issues show as a too low red light after 10 minutes of the yellow pump on light or the unit turning off and on over and over again.

Other possibilities would be a too low red light after 20-30 seconds and this means a power issue erased the software so the 10 minute timer is now zero minutes and after start up it shuts down.

Have you removed the sensor from the magnet and made sure it is shiny clean on all sides? To clean them you want to soak the sensor in vinegar or citric acid for at least a half hour and wipe the sensor with a soft towel, any dull haze on the sensor can render it blind.
